You woke up early with the feeling you should go to the country
Oh you could talk to your old friends, see how they’re doing
And the train that you took moves like a time-machine heading for teenage
Oh did you think there were answers? The air is full of skew matters

And everybody wants to know what you’re up to and what do you do…
Seems like a year doesn’t mean a thing, it’s like you could pick up
Where you left off

Such a shame but the house of your parents looks hollow
Oh you could do the whole place up, it would be lovely in June
And it’s funny cause the aviary you hated it is empty but still there
Oh you think it’s to quiet now. What’s the price for like… two birds?
